A little bit about us

Our agency provides child protection services to the three counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry. Our office is located in Cornwall, Ontario, a community of 42,000 people on the St. Lawrence River. Cornwall is a one hour drive from Ottawa and 50 minutes from Montreal. It also borders the USA with an international bridge leading to New York State.

In order to meet the Society’s staffing needs efficiently, we accept resumes on an on-going basis for Child Protection Worker positions and Child and Family Worker positions.

Roles and qualifications

Our agency is proud to provide bilingual services to the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry communities. As such, some positions require candidates to be fully bilingual, while other positions simply prioritize bilingual candidates.

Educational requirements for supervisors and Child Protection Workers include Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and Master of Social Work (MSW). You must also be registered, or be eligible to register with the College of Social Workers.

Community College diplomas are required for many administrative positions and for Child and Family Worker positions.

A valid driver’s license is required for all of our positions.
